In the UK there are a few big players that dominate the market such as Regus, Avanta, Abbey, MWBex with the rest of the market is dissipated between regional operators and brokers.
These all offer discounts for new businesses. Regus offer the first month free when you sign up for a serviced office and this kind of practice is common place within the industry.
Always ask if the price can be negotiated or if not, whether extra services can be included, especially if you are signing a lengthy (e.g 12 months +) contract. However be realistic about what you ask for and avoid fictitious offers from other providers as the industry is well connected!
