Rental costs for Glasgow and Edinburgh reach parity

December 29th, 2007 | by Simon Rattray

The cost of renting office space in Glasgow is now as expensive as renting in Edinburgh, reports the Scotsman.

The paper also warns that a lack of available office space, particularly grade A office space, will mean that a greater number of existing buildings will have to be refurbished. This is welcome news for environmentalists and those concerned about Urban sprawl. Overall it is encouraging to see both cities performing so buoyantly in an uncertain economic climate.
