Regus to run Peter House, Manchester
April 7th, 2008 | by Simon Rattray |
Regus is to take over the running of the Morley and Hermes owned Peter House on Manchester’s Oxford street. The building is currently run by Stonemartin.
Morley and Hermes also own buildings in prime areas in Birmingham and Reading (also to be taken over by Regus) but are having a rethink and have decided to terminate the contract with Stonemartin at a cost of £7 million. This amount still has to be approved by the Stonemartin shareholders who are meeting later this month to approve the deal.
Regus should have no trouble finding tenants for this building, it has a superb interior and is in a prime location in central Manchester, just off St Peter’s square.
Notable residents include search engine rivals Google and Yahoo who ironically took up a serviced office in the same building.
