Press Release: Bizspace acquires new business centre in Scotland
July 22nd, 2008 | by Adam LuckingThere has been an increased demand for flexible office space solutions from new businesses and the SME sector in recent times and as such Bizspace have acquired 8 new flexible and managed workspace centres in Scotland. One of the newest business centres located at Earls Gate Park in Grangemouth opened in July provides a wide range of office, studio and light industrial units with the aim of making it easy for businesses to relocate to the area.
Shirley Henderson, Bizspace’s regional manager, said that the first business centre they acquired in Grangemouth in 2007 proved so popular at getting businesses and jobs to the community that they just had to open a second centre. As there is a real shortage for quality workspace in the area, it is hoped that it will fill the gap with flexible workspace from 108 sq ft to 2,800 sq ft.
The new centre is in an art deco building within its own grounds. The ground floor offices will be self contained and have private access with their own toilet facilities. There will also be plenty of parking spaces and an onsite gymnasium.
In total there are the two Grangemouth business centre’s along with the Livingston, Bellshill, Coat bridge, East Lothian and Glasgow centre’s and they all form part of the major expansion plan for Bizspace in Scotland. There are plans in place for a 9th centre in the region with more locations to be announced before the end of this year.
Bizspace has seen more than 100% growth in the past 18 months and looks set to increase this further by the year end. It has also won Managed Workspace of the Year award from the Business Centre Association for the last two years down to its quality of customer care.
