Ohio Office Space Set To Open In China

china-flag.gifOhio Department of Development which includes Economic & Community Development, Travel & Tourism, International Trade, Small & Minority Business Assistance, Technology Assistance & Business Financing, are opening an international office in China, making this it’s third global office.

About the newly opened office in Beijing China, Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher said “The office in Beijing will work in tandem with its Ohio China Centre in Shanghai. Both offices are managed through the department’s Global Markets Division, formerly the International Trade Division”.

Having secured $50,000 dollars in annual funding for the new office Deborah Scherer Division Director said ” Adding to our existing Ohio China Centre in Shanghai enables us to more effectively service our Ohio exporters and potential Chinese investors throughout China. ”

This new office brings the number up to 14 worldwide, with offices in Sydney, and New Delhi which opened in February.
