Microsoft becomes first tenant at Waverley Gate

Microsoft, the global software giant has signed a 15 year lease for 12,100 sq ft on the top and fourth floors of Castlemore’s 217,000 sq ft office building.

Rent for the top floor is at £31 sq ft and the top floor is at £29.50 sq ft.This is around £362,000 per annum.

This is the first letting at Waverley Gate in Edinburgh since the £100m redevelopment three years ago.  Director of Microsoft in Scotland, Raymond O’Hare, said the new building will serve as a base for the company as it looks to expand its Scottish operations.
