Manchester office space uptake by financial and insurance firms

February 24th, 2008 | by James Jones |

A UK law firm and a leading insurance provider in the UK have decided to rent serviced office space in Manchester - Oxford Street to be precise.

Manchester is becoming more and more of a corporate hub over the past few years and these two moves help to increase this reputation further.

Mills Reeve (UK Law) and Arista Insurance have made the move to Peter House, Oxford Street recently and others will surely follow suit. A source from Arista has said that Manchester was the natural choice because of the size of the insurance market in the area.  The building is a great office environment and the availability of meeting rooms in the building should help to improve the business.

Its good to see that Manchester is becoming more interesting option for larger companies. As a staunch northerner, this reporter is happy to see more business to be spread around the country, away from the usual natural choice that is London.
