London office space delayed?
May 15th, 2008 | by James WelchPotential office space in London may be delayed because of the commercial property slump.
The ‘Walkie-Talkie’ building, a tower of over 500ft was planned for the financial district in London but now looks set to be scrapped. However, it is looking increasing unlikely that it may be built for the original target date.
The existing building on the plot, at 20 Fenchurch Street, will still be completed by the early part of 2009
With 10,000 jobs expected to go over the next few years, there may be more instances of new buildings used for office space and potentially serviced offices being delayed.
