London office market hits 2 year low

Office space deals were worth a total of just £2.3billion in the last three months of 2007 as the market fell to levels not seen since 2005.

The steepest falls were felt in the City of Office space London serviced officesLondon where deals dropped from £4.3bn in Q3 to to £1.7bn in Q4. Prices, as well as the value of transactions, are also falling according to Cushman and Office space Wakefield serviced officesWakefield.

However, Tim Sketchley, of C and W noted the concerns in the short and medium term, but overall predicted growth and a low vacancy rate in the longer term.
