13 storey office gets green light
February 6th, 2008 | by Adam LuckingAn HKR Architects scheme has now had the go ahead for the redevelopment of the former BT Exchange on Fore Street, London. The £74m redevelopment will have around 342,000 sq ft of office space over 13 floors.Based on the site of a Crossrail tunnel and adjacent to Moorgate Underground Station, there were several planning issues including the building falling with the strategic views of St Pauls Cathedral.The aim of the development is to provide state of the art office space appropriate to a world financial centre.
