HBOS move into Lochrin Square
December 18th, 2007 | by Adam LuckingEdinburgh’s biggest office space letting since 2003 was sealed this week with HBOS moving into 1 Lochrin Square.
HBOS will take over 60,000 square feet, being developed by a collaboration of Gladedale and Scotmid. The site is valued at over £50 million.
Rent per square feet is £28.50 equating to £1.77 million per year, in the heart of Edinburgh’s Exchange District, Fountainbridge.
David Robinson, development director for Gladedale remarked that there was little competition from other locations for office space of this quality. HBOS will house over 600 staff at the development.
The letting follows on from Biggart Baillie and Watson Wyatt who are also tenants at Lochrin Square, leaving a remaining 6,000 square feet of available space.
