The Co-operative look for development planner

November 21st, 2007 | by Adam Lucking |

The Co-operative Group is on the look out for development planner for a 20-acre regeneration site in Manchester city centre.

Property director, Lynda Shillaw, reckons the development will provide a prime example of cutting edge city centre regeneration. The completion date is expected to be around two years.

With The Co-op leaning towards the green side, there are several criteria for the site.
These include carbon neutral options and to have a mixed-use occupancy, making use of nearby train and tram stations.

It is expected that The Co-op will announce a planner early next year.
